Paige was able to show excellent pace in the heat and able to move her way forward with 2 top 10 finishes in 9th for heat 2 and heat 4. Flack was putting in a storming drive in the final and was as high as 6th position before a heart breaking DNF end her weekend charge.
Team Manager and former national champion Cian Fothergill spoke post weekend on his teams winning weekend!
“Lana grabbing her first win at the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship was great to see. Newcastle has always been a technical track for both the drivers and kart setup. To grab a round win here was a great effort by the team. Now onto our home track for the next round”.
